February 2012 we have chosen "Kindle" as our Artist/Ministry fund Recipient

Everybody has a purpose. It's a flame that's placed deep within us before we breathe our first breath. It molds our personalities, dictates our interests and makes us feel like our lives have eternal value. But do we actually know how to tap into it? Just as importantly, what do we do once we've found it? Meet KINDLE.

KINDLE is a special Christian music and leadership experience that inspires women from every generation to come together to celebrate their talents, prep for service and faithfully live out the Great Commission.

Our goal is to create an environment where believers can learn how to mesh faith and action. We do this by encouraging up and coming leaders to discover, nurture and utilize their unique, God-given abilities and as a result, hope to become a catalyst for a group of 21st century women who will settle for nothing less than changing the world in the name of Jesus.

The ARF Artist Recording Fund
This is the email we are sending out to all the C.S.M.I. artists about this fund.
First I want to start with a scripture...
Whoever has this world's goods & sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart...how does the love of God abide in him? 1 John 3:17
I want to bear my heart for a minute....Monday night May 30th I met with some of our CSMI leadership in Nashville and we discussed an idea that I feel is important. Many of the artists within our organization are in the midst of a recording project and are prayerfully trying to raise the funds needed and necessary to record a decent album. They are desiring to take the music God has given them to parts of this country and around the world to reach people for Christ. However we all know how difficult it is to raise thousands of dollars. The idea has come up that if our 80 or so artists work together we can offset the financial burden of another artist by giving a small donation each month to help that artist with their recording expenses. We felt that 10 dollars a month if people could afford it or the cost of a couple of Starbucks coffees would be a great help and in turn we would give that money to one artist each month with a total of 12 over one year receiving this help. The Lord did a lot with 12 faithful disciples. We could see 800 or a thousand dollars each month go at least towards helping our fellow artists finish, start, or at least take the edge off those huge recording expenses.
We have started a paypal account with that purpose in mind and all the proceeds will go for this cause. None of the money given towards this fund will go anywhere else other then to the artists ...We have also started a P.O. Box in which to mail in a contribution.
We have around 12 artists doing recording projects presently or in the mode of starting one and so it would be good to start with those artists and they have all exhibited integrity and honesty during the time they have been with C.S.M.I.
The 12 artists we have chosen are....Lara Landon, Katie Peltier, Rachael Mann, Larry Davis, Carrie Moeller, Paul Berkus, Joseph McNally, Hannah Mitchell, Root Road, ALINA DORINA LOGHIN (United Kingdom), Scott Logan, and Naima Johnston.
Each month we will also feature that artist on our CSMI web site and in our E-Newsletter.
The strength of this organization will be in first caring for one another and also in bearing one another's burdens. If you want to be a part of this project please send a confirming email back to me and I will put you down along with the artists who have decided they want to help. If you can give more just mention that in the return email....
May God bless you,
Gene Schmidt
