Dear Family and Friends,  
 
From March 31st – April 5th, 2017, I will be returning to Haiti along with other members from my church at St. Paul’s UMC in Ocean Grove for a mission’s trip to Bon Repos, (near Port-au- Prince) and Saut d’Eau.   
 
As you are aware Haiti is one of the poorest and unhealthiest areas of the world, the needs are great. In this trip, we will encourage, support and deepen our relationship with the Light and Peace (L&P) Mission which runs 50 churches and 26 schools across the country along with a home for widows and an orphanage (“My Father’s House”).  Our team will be staying at the orphanage with 60 beautiful children full of life, smiles and hugs.  
 
Among other activities we will travel two hours into the mountains to visit a Light & Peace Mission in Saut d’Eau’ a little town which also happens to be the voodoo capital of Haiti.  St. Paul’s adopted this L&P church and has helped to see it rebuilt after the 2010 earthquake.  We will also be distributing Sawyer Water Filters, graciously purchased by St. Paul’s UMC to this church and other churches as well as hundreds of individuals.   
 
The team and I are collecting the following items that we will give out to children and teachers: Journals (not composition notebooks); Construction Paper; Boxes of Pens and Washable Markers; No 2. Pencils and Colored Pencils; Hard Candy (No chocolate). Please call/text or email me to coordinate donating any of these items.    
 
To accomplish this mission I need YOUR support.   Every successful mission trip is only possible with those who are willing to be senders.  Would you be a sender? Would you commit to pray? Would you consider giving an offering of $20 or more if you are able towards my support for this trip?
