Hello Team!
Wanted to give you an update on the progress of preparing for Praise in the Park Nashville, and invite you to our next meeting.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, March 26th at 2:00 PM at Cracker Barrel (near Opryland). The address is 2406 Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.

PROMOTION:
We are hoping to have flyers printed to give you at the March meeting, so we can start passing them out in our churches and to individuals ahead of time. We will be kicking off 6 weeks of promotion to spread the word, and we need your help! Together we can make a big impact, and get the word out quickly. We will also have a press release ready soon, and will be sending that to radio and newspapers in the area. If you have any media contacts who would be interested, please send me their name, phone number, and email.

PAPERWORK UPDATE:
We have the liability insurance paid for and it has been accepted by the park. If you are ever in need of general liability insurance for an event, www.eventhelper.com was quick and easy to use.
Also we have been confirming the artists' availability and will be sending out Artist Agreement forms this week. We will have an official schedule and roster soon. Many of you are on the bill, and will be receiving your artist agreement by email. :)
PRAYER NIGHTS:
Bob Thomas is facilitating a prayer meeting to pray together ahead of time before the event. The next Prayer Meeting will be Saturday, April 22 from 7-10PM at 225 Berry Street, Nashville, TN 37207.
Also, you are all invited to a Prayer Meeting the night before the park event. Friday, May 12th, at 7:00 PM. Location TBA. We would love to cover this event in prayer and pray over the volunteers and artists who will be serving at the event.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all your support during this process. God is bringing every detail together, and I am in constant amazement watching Him work it out.

Could you bring up the things on this list at today's meeting? Feel free to give me a call during the meeting with any questions or to add into the discussion.
Needs for the event:
Water bottles donated to pass out - Dollar General? church group? individuals?
Catered food for artists - restaurants donate or church group?
1 volunteer for security, 1 to man the resource table, 1 certified for First Aid
Donations needed if we are going to pay for a billboard. If not, we can do without, and focus on as much free promotion as possible.
Need a location for a prayer meeting over the artists the night before, on Friday May 12th at 7pm. House or church in Nashville area.
Encourage the committee members to Like and Share the Facebook page for Praise in the Park, and to invite people on the event page. The links are in our group email.
If anyone has press contacts for radio, newspaper, etc, please have them send me their contact names and email addresses so I can send out the press release soon.
TShirts with our event logo are available for sale on the CustomInk group order form. They can pick their size and pay online, then pick up shirts at the tent on the day of the event.
As additional ideas and questions come up, please make a list.
