On the weekend of October 21-23 we, ONE Came Down (George & Pamela Meyer), were invited to the CSMI IMPACT 2016 Conference in Gatlinburg, TN., to give our testimony and to share some of the worship music that the LORD has given us.

Let us say what an IMPACT that weekend had on our lives!! What a blessing it was to come together with saints whose whole purpose in life is to glorify our loving God through music of praise and worship.

The heart and love for the LORD and for sharing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, always being mindful of the cross, His blood that was poured out for us, repentance and redemption was AMAZING!

To experience the different gifting’s of the saints, whom we felt we had known forever, was such a blessing! The testimonies of God’s promises of protection, healing, guidance, provision, just to name a few…were absolutely inspiring!

The presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable the whole weekend as every moment was led entirely by Him.  From the first strum of worship on Friday evening, through powerful communion on Saturday and the beautiful service on Sunday.  We were convicted to the very depths of our soul regarding our TRUE relationship with our Holy God.  O LORD that we would ever strive only to be more like Jesus!

God is so good!  Three days of worship, prayer, great fellowship, teaching, with incredible music and musicians! We are so grateful for the ministry opportunities that have been opened to us and are really excited to see how God is going to use them to further His Kingdom!  Also, to Gene Schmidt for being so gracious to include us!

2016 Impact Testimonies

"Jesus said to them, "I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never hunger and He who believes in Me will never thirst.".....John 6:35........that says to me that everyone who believes in and follows Jesus will be at peace and have everything they need. They will always be full, like I am right now. After this weekend in Gatlinburg, TN with Gene Schmidt and many other CSMI artists who gathered to share their songs, their testimonies and the things we believe God is calling us all to do as Christian songwriters and musicians, I feel completely full. I felt like we were all totally one in the Spirit and I feel changed and renewed and ready for what God has in store for me, if you can ever be really ready for that. I feel closer to Jesus and to my wife and instead of trying to do things in my own strength or lack there of, because I fail miserably when I do that, I want to let Jesus and the Holy Spirit pursue me and listen to that still small voice inside and not do anything until I hear it. Lord, let me hear your voice and let me do those things you've called me to do and only those things and not waste any more time.
