Meredith Duke Goodlettesville TN

My goals are to glorify God and Jesus Christ through songs that make the believer think, praise, say amen, rejoice and MOVE. I want to sing the songs that He has given me, and share them with the people that He loves, and I am SO EXCITED to learn about this ministry. My small family (husband and two sons) just moved to Nashville from Maine to pursue the Christian music, because God told us to GO. So we did.

I would LOVE to connect with like minded artists and see if collaboration happens -- my strongest skill is harmonizing with other people, and it is also what makes me happiest. :)

Goals As A Christian Musician/Songwriter

To glorify the Lord first and foremost. My heart is to write and sing as both in my church and also through my writers nights and local ministries. I currently run a writers night that offers opportunities to other local singer songwriters like me, a chance to share what the Lord has given them. I hope to eventually record a worship album. I also write some for t.v. and am looking for more opportunities to use the gifts God has given me.

Dixi Broadhead Nashville TN

BIO

My story is simple. I grew up singing with a Mom who was a jazz singer. I grew up in the small, historic town of Natchez, Mississippi. I have been singing my entire life from church, to community theater, to talent shows and festivals. I received my associates degree in music performance from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. It wasn’t until moving to Hattiesburg, Mississippi that my passions started moving toward worship and writing.

I have been married to Marc Broadhead for nineteen years and we have two children, Marc Joseph (15) and Ana (13). I was the worship leader at Grace Temple Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for 5 years (but also served on their worship team for 10 years prior to becoming worship leader). Nine years ago, our family moved to Nashville, feeling like we were being led to move. Since living here, I have done a few studio sessions as well as continued to write, lead worship and teach. I am currently on the worship team at The Bridge Fellowship, where I assist the Worship Pastor with scheduling, auditions and training of new worship team members. I also serve as a small group leader and mentor to 8th grade girls at The Bridge Fellowship. My goal, in anything I am doing, is to glorify God. I have also enjoyed this new season at the Hope Center on Friday nights. I have formed connections with these ladies and have seen God’s restoration taking place.

Blessings to you,

Dixi

Carlita Earl MD

My goals are to continue to sharpen my skills and talents as a vocalist, poet and songwriter. To meet and fellowship with other artists throughout the Body of Christ. To work toward releasing a debut EP CD by early 2016, share the music that the Lord has given me to encourage the Body of Christ and fulfill the Great Commission for God's glory.

Carlita Earl was born and raised in the Nation’s Capital (Washington, DC) from a family of three children. Reared in a home and extended family where music and the arts were freely expressed, Carlita embraced singing at a young age and later developed a deep love for poetry and songwriting in her teen years. Raised during her early Christian walk in the Churches of God in Christ, and being trained there in the first stages of music ministry, Carlita was privileged to have been a member of and toured with one of the nation’s top recording contemporary Gospel choirs of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s: The Star of Bethlehem COGIC Youth Choir, under the direction of the late Elder Harvey Lewis, Jr.

A dynamic vocalist, songwriter, poet and communicator, Carlita travels and ministers the Gospel of Jesus Christ through contemporary urban Christian music in churches, outdoor festivals, coffeehouses, conferences and various community events-crossing social, racial and denominational lines that creates a powerful eclectic musical celebration in the presence of God.

Ministering and performing from the local to international level has brought numerous opportunities for Carlita to share her music across the nation in such states as: Maryland, Pennsylvania, Colorado, California, Ohio, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kansas and the beautiful nations of South Africa and Haiti.

Along with being an independent urban Christian artist, Carlita is also a minister of the Gospel. She is a 1992 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, completing her studies in Biblical Teaching. She is also a 2010 graduate of The Women's Leadership Development Institute-a 9 month training program that prepares Christian women for
leadership ministry in the local church.

Carlita is a partner/member of The Bridge in Silver Spring, Maryland where Jumaine Jones serves as Lead Pastor. Carlita makes her home in Greenbelt, Maryland-a suburb of Washington, DC.

Tim Anderson TN

About Tim.

I can only ever remember wanting to do one thing as a child - sing! Fortunately, there were plenty of opportunities. I sang with my family, in church groups, school choirs, a boys choir, community choirs, university choirs and in church, school and community musicals. Being one of four boys, I sang at churches and camps with my older brother, Kendal, in a quartet, and in a duo with my brother Nathan at churches, universities, coffee houses and festivals. I took piano lessons, experimenting with writing my own tunes, and even learned to strum a few chords on the guitar, which I played when leading the singing at prison ministry meetings.

One day, a friend took one of my tunes and put some words from the Bible to it and it became a real song. Suddenly, it all made sense. I was inspired! I wanted to write songs that expressed what Jesus meant to me and how my faith in Him affected every area of my life. In no time I was writing songs using words from the Bible and the writings of other Christians and it didn't take long for me to progress to using my own words as well. My life was changed forever and I was on the path God had for me as a singer/song-writer.

In 1997, after having several songs recorded by The Continental Singers, Integrity Music and Truth, I surrendered to God's leading and moved to Nashville, TN to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. Soon after, I had some songs recorded by Brentwood Music and Lifeway and I got a job at my church. Over a period of eight years I was the keyboard player, singer, and, eventually, the music coordinator. It was there that I met Heather Field, a successful Australian songwriter and true woman of God, and together we have written most of the songs I am currently singing.

Though I was impatient to be ministering through my music God had trials for me to walk through and lessons for me to learn, refining my faith in the fire of adversity. Now, at last, I have more than songs to sing; now I also have a story to tell: The story of God's faithfulness in my own life. Jesus is faithful to meet us where we are and, if we will trust Him, he'll set us free, he'll change us and take us to places we could never go without Him. I now work as an independent artist travelling wherever the Lord leads me, singing my songs and telling the story Jesus has given me to share.

About SnTRadio

About SnTRadio.com (Spirit and Truth) Internet Radio

Founded by James Burkhardt in 2008 with a desire to feature the widest possible variety of streaming Christian Music online from the late 1960’s Jesus Music era all the way to today.

SnTRadio.com is first and foremost an online worship experience with the following scripture as its guide: “But the time is coming–indeed it’s here now–when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. “ (John 4:23-24) New Living Translation (©2007)

Our mission is to present the highlights from the entire catalogue of Christian Music inspired by the Holy Spirit since the Jesus Movement of the late 1960’s and forward to today. Hence the description, “The Greatest Christian Music”. This becomes the background for integrating sounds of Contemporary Worship as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Our sole purpose at SnTRadio.com is to encourage, edify and enrich the lives of our listeners. We aim to be an oasis for those Believers who labor in increasingly hostile secular work environments.
Modern Worship is programmed at regular daily intervals following David’s pattern of Outer Court, Inner Court, and Holy of Holies worship. This is key because “God inhabits the praises of His people.” On Sundays, SnTRadio.com presents only Contemporary Worship and Praise songs from the past 50 years with absolutely no commercials.
The massive task of assembling a complete online catalogue of all the songs since the Jesus Movement and forward in one place is the known as the SnT Online Christian Music Library. Right now it contains hundreds of out-of-print and never before digitized (mp3) songs and albums. More are being added daily. Soon this awesome resource will be available to anyone in the world, at any time, in any place as accessed by mobile devices and PC’s.
The concept for SnTRadio.com came in an impartation during an ordinary midweek Worship service to James Burkhardt as he was sitting in a pew next to his wife.  “I was worshiping and singing when the Holy Spirit suddenly began putting all these detailed ideas in my head. It was just like receiving an answer to a prayer but seemed like a download of information. I sat down and made some quick notes then prayed for clarification later that night in my little production studio. Within a span of three days I had 95% of the entire breadth and scope of what SnT Radio was to become. This is my passion and life’s work.”
SnTRadio.com as a concept went live on the internet December 23, 2008 with an hour long commercial free Christmas Music download.  Tens of thousands of e-mails and messages were sent worldwide over LinkedIn, ecademy, and Facebook. The SnTRadio website received nearly 60,000 hits on December 24 and 25, 2008. Due to a back injury sustained while helping a homeless person move into a new residence after Christmas, James was finally able to launch SnTRadio.com 24/7 on Memorial Day 2009 and has not looked back.
James is a multifaceted businessman, musician,  producer, and  mixing/mastering engineer with a 30 year track record of success in the creative fields of advertising, marketing and broadcasting.  Currently operations are based in Orlando, FL, USA.

Found in the garbage in Korea over 40 years ago I have been living a miraculous life ever since.  God has blessed my life in so many ways including a wonderful gift of music.  I started playing melodies from listening to records at the age of 3 and started writing on the piano when I was 5.

In 2010 I was honored to become a Kawai piano artist!

From this almost hopeless beginning God has given me favor to work with companies like:  Walt Disney World, Compaq Computers, The Discovery Channel, The Kennedy Space Center, Nissan, Country Music Television, Sea World, Universal Studios, ABC, The Hard Rock Cafe, Warner Chappell, Sony, BMG and many others.

Without a college degree I have taught at two colleges and have been hired to travel and work around the world.  I’ve worked with a Grammy Award winning producer, Academy Award winning singer and a Hall of Fame songwriter.
My message is: \“It doesn\‘t matter where or how you start out in life, God has a purpose and plan for everyone.\”

Pete Begley TN

At age 11 Pete began playing his brother's guitar. He took lessons with the great Turk Van Lake of the Benny Goodman band, using the money he earned from his paper route in Staten Island, NY. At 15 a fellow guitarist asked him to play bass during an afternoon jam session and Pete's heart was turned to the tone and feel of the bass. Shortly thereafter he wrote the single Leave Me Alone for his band The Wanted, and played CBGB's, Kenny's Castaways and many other clubs in and around Manhattan. Always studying his craft, he took lessons through the years with NY Jazz teacher, Peter Prisco, studio legend Ken Smith, film composer Rick Giovinazzo and the "Groovemaster"  of bass, Jerry Jemmott who had played for Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and a countless list of legends.

It was at a concert by the progressive rock band King Crimson that he first heard the Stick being played by Tony Levin. He was determined to get one from that point on. The Stick had a profound influence on Pete's life as this was the instrument that might enable him to make a career of it whether with bands or as a solo act. Within 2 years Pete had learned enough songs to earn a living playing in the streets of New York. During this 7-year stretch Pete played many gigs including restaurants, weddings, parties, nursing homes and private functions, including one for UNICEF at the United Nations. He also was an actor as a Stick player in the off-Broadway play, Just Shoot Me at Forbidden Broadway. Living in Manhattan for many years enabled him to host his own cable show Sound Truth on public access for 3 years. He was featured as a Stick player on both the Reading Rainbow, hosted by LeVar Burton, (the award winning Berlioz The Bear episode), and the "FX Show" hosted by Jeff Probst of Survivor. One highlight was when he amazed Harry Connick, Jr. on the TV show when Connick had finished a "New Orleans" meal and asked if Pete could play a tune on the Stick that sounded like New Orleans. The music Pete played brought loud applause from the crowd during the fun filled segment.

In 1990, Pete got a call from an agent to drive from his home on 14th Street in Manhattan to the Poconos, Pennsylvania during a February blizzard to fill in for a violinist. It was that night at Caesar's Brookdale where the owner spotted him and offered him the Saturday night job at Caesar's Cove Haven. In 1997 he was asked to work at all 4 Caesars resorts, 5 nights a week and he relocated to Stroudsburg.

Pete has also recorded CDs of his own on the Stick, such as Stick With Christmas which offers seasonal songs of the holiday, and has made CDs while working as a session player as well.

He continues to give students private lessons for several musical instruments. In addition to working nightly, on Sundays he can usually be heard playing in Church.

2017 brought big changes for Pete. Having relocated to Nashville, Tennessee he is now gigging, recording and teaching in Music City USA.

Bob-Bennett_Joy-Deep-As-Sorrow.jpg

Bob Bennett-CA

bob@bobbennett.com

“To me, my primary goal is to communicate truthfully with people. If I can communicate truthfully the life of the spirit and the always-accompanying struggle along the way, then ministry happens as a natural result of that.”

Bob’s ability to write songs about other than typical “spiritual” topics has always made him stand out.  He sees spiritual themes everywhere, even in the least holy of circumstances. His approach to ministry also follows the same line of reasoning – that our lives are intricately woven with the sacred and the human, and that honest communication is ultimately most effective.

If you tell Bob Bennett his songs don’t sound much like religious music, you’re likely to evoke a smile. After all, he has always lurked outside the fringes of Contemporary Christian Music, crafting songs that detail not only his joys and victories, but also his disappointments, struggles and failures.

Bob’s acoustic folk-style recordings have honestly confronted the messy side of human existence over the years. But those who have discovered his depth, wit, honesty and musicianship consider him to be one of Christian music’s foremost songwriters. His classic tunes “Matters of the Heart,” “Come and See,” “A Song About Baseball,” and many others reveal a songwriting proficiency unmatched among his peers.

Bob was born in Downey, California, in 1955. He picked up his first guitar at age nine and formed a rock ‘n’ roll band in high school. In the late seventies he converted to Christianity and his songwriting began to reflect his newfound faith. His career was launched with the release of his 1979 folk-style debut recording First Things First. Three years later came Matters of the Heart, a recording Contemporary Christian Music Magazine voted 1982’s “Album of the Year,” ranking it among the top 20 Contemporary Christian Albums of all time.

Soon after the release of his next recording, Non-Fiction, he served as opening act on Amy Grant’s Unguarded Tour. Lord of the Past: A Compilation followed, with its title song reaching number one on the Christian radio charts in early 1990, followed by his second number one song, “Yours Alone.” Later that year Bob joined Michael Card on his Way of Wisdom tour, performing in front of sold-out audiences across the country. Songs from Bright Avenue was released in 1991, a collection of songs he wrote while struggling with the dissolution of his marriage. The years that followed were a time of emotional healing, regrouping and moving forward with his life. 1997’s Small Graces reflected some of that progress.

In 2002, Bob signed with Steve Bell’s Signpost Music which yielded The View from Here, part of a series of simpler-production albums being released by the label. Re-recorded versions of “Lord of the Past”, “Man of the Tombs”, and “Still Rolls the Stone” breathed new life into some of these older classics along side of newly-written gems like “The Kings of Summer Street” and the title song.

Collaborative projects with Bruce Carroll and Billy Sprague (Return of the Killer B’s) as well as master fingerstyle guitarist John Standefer (Six String Prayers) followed.  In 2009, Bob wrote and recorded his first Holiday collection Christmastide which featured many newly written songs for the Season as well as some eclectic covers. Along with friends Billy Batstone and Alex MacDougall, Bob then collaborated on Jesus Music Again (2011) which surveyed many of the classic Jesus People Era songs done in a more wooden, acoustic fashion.

Joy Deep as Sorrow, the completion of which was generously crowd-funded via a Kickstarter Campaign, was released in 2012. Of the album, Shawn McLaughlin wrote in Christian Musician magazine: “Bennett has already released two of the faith-based medium’s greatest albums (1982’s Matters of the Heart and Songs from Bright Avenue which followed 10 years later). That Joy Deep as Sorrow is every bit their equal, coming almost 35 years into his ministry, is a testament to Bennett’s gift as well as his staying power.”

Bob’s latest release is Live at Judson University. The recording captures a one-night-only in-concert performance where Bob is joined by Dr. Warren Anderson and a special extended gathering of both current and alumni choir members. The evening was recorded at the end Homecoming Week in September 2016 and the setlist covers a wide range of Bob’s songs. A couple songs are even sung by students with Bob accompanying on guitar.

Of his music, Bob says,

“I think that accomplishing some sort of ministry by playing music is a completely faulty, frail method that God still manages to use. My primary goal is to communicate truthfully with people. If I can communicate truthfully the life of the Spirit and the always-accompanying struggle along the way, then ministry happens as a natural result of that. If something deep and profound happens, I’m as amazed and grateful as anyone else!”

Deliberately subjective in his lyrics, Bob Bennett allows listeners to eavesdrop on his personal observations and then decide for themselves if the words ring true. Ultimately, he reaches into hearts, using his abilities to craft language and music to tell the stories inside each of us.

As a drummer, my goal is not only in serving as a musician on my church's worship team, but also being able to broaden my scope in the performing aspect. Although I dislike calling it a "performance", a certain level must be there during live events such as Praise in the Park. If I can be a very small instrumental part in someone's life changing for the first time, or rekindling an old feeling they had in church when they were younger, that's my way of giving praise and honor back to God for an amazing (and humbling) gift He gave me at birth.

Goals As A Christian Musician/Songwriter

To write music that inspires and encourages others in their walk with the Lord. We lost our son at five weeks old and writing was such a healing part of processing that pain and bringing it to the Lord, instead of becoming bitter. I write music that deals directly with the storms of life and I hope I can encourage and inspire others who are also going through trials of their own.
